This piece takes loose inspiration from the multiple star clusters which comprise Orion’s Belt, seeking to convey vast celestial forces which gradually converge before violently breaking apart once more. It was composed for, and workshopped by, the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, the recording of which can be found below:
